“Before PLF came to Koh Ker, we used to study under the tree”.
Sareng was one of the first students to finally be able to graduate from Koh Ker primary school – having had to repeat Grades 1 & 2 several times. The determination of these early pioneers to continue learning informed our own next steps with the creation of Srayang dorm, right next door to the nearest secondary school – some 18 kms away. Sareng was also one of the first pioneers to bring back education to her community.
