Background Check

As a part of PLF's Child Protection Policy, I understand that I will be required to obtain a DBS/Background Check from my country of nationality or the country where I am an official resident pending the acceptance of my application. *Upon the initial acceptance of your application, you will receive a Background Check form to provide further information about your nationality and residency. This will allow our Operations Director to advise you on the relevant procedures for obtaining your DBS/Background check.

Traveler's Insurance

I understand that I will be required to carry traveler's insurance that includes medical evacuation while I am volunteering. A copy of this document must be forwarded to "[email protected] " 1 week prior to arrival. I understand that failure to produce such paperwork will cause me to be removed from the volunteer schedule.

Volunteer Costs

Lodging in Siem Reap at Seven Candles Guesthouse: $20 per night
Transportation to and from school each day roundtrip: $15
2 PLF T-shirts to wear to class: Free, $5 each per for additional shirts
Teaching Materials: $0 to $15

Please note: If there are two of you teaching in the same class, traveling to the school together and sharing a room, this cost would be for two people. If you are staying longer than 3 weeks, costs for lodging will be reduced to $15 per night excluding tax.
