PLF volunteer David Mintz from the United States picked up tools and went to work with students at a girls’ shelter in Siem Reap. The crew started construction on a small bridge that will help students who live there get from the road to their rooms during annual monsoon floods. Last year, at the height of Cambodia’s worst flooding in ten years, students couldn’t cross the road to their home.
