PLF’s high school scholars have had another successful year in their final high school exams, even outperforming last year’s graduating class!

Overall, 82% of our students successfully passed this year. This is especially exciting news for us giveh the national pass rate, which this year was 67%. Congratulations to our Grade 12 graduates, a few of whom just dropped by the office this week to celebrate!

The system of extra tuition classes in high school is set up for the rich to flourish and the poor to fall down – those who can’t afford to attend extra classes face extraordinary barriers come exam time. Our high scholarships provide access to these additional classes, and we are so proud to see our our students smashing down those barriers and showing what they can achieve when given a level playing field.

Many of this year’s graduating class will be continuing on to University in the capital Phnom Penh, where they’ll be studying to be the next generation of engineers, lawyers, architects, teachers, nurses and social workers. We’re so excited to send them off on the next stage of their journey. Stay tuned!
