This is my second time visiting Cambodia as a volunteer for the Ponheary Ly Foundation. My parents and my older siblings have been coming for years, but now it was my turn to come!

We are definitely running a little late on re-capping this year! It was a veritable whirlwind of activity. A lot of new programs were lifted off at existing projects and a new school was brought on board.
We are so grateful to our supporters near and far who believe in Ponheary’s vision and help us to bring all this about.

2014 was my 7th year coming back to Cambodia and volunteering at the PLF. Although it was a short visit, much was packed in, as always, and I came away yearning for a longer visit next summer.

Most children in the countryside always help their parents, and do homework when they are free after school or before school.
Year by year many people are killed by traffic accidents on the roads in Cambodia. Traffic accidents are the most common types of accidents in Cambodia. They have made us so scared that we wonder why they don’t try to reduce traffic accidents.
