In April we laid out our finances for 2015 and shared our plan for 2016, and we are excited to finally welcome a key player of that plan to the team. PLF family, please meet Sherry!

Sherry is our very first in-house accountant, and will be keeping an eye on our books, processing all of our many cash transactions, and reporting on our numbers. She is also taking on our human resources, coordinating much of our administrative support and day-to-day operations.

Sherry came out to Cambodia as a volunteer in 2009 and decided to extend her stay as a project manager at an international NGO. She spent last year in Canada, returning to her previous career in forensics, but upon hearing from Lori about an opening on the PLF team she knew it was an opportunity she had to take. Sherry comes back to Cambodia with fresh energy and is excited to use her degree in accounting to help PLF manage our growth. An avid chess player, Sherry is also determined to find the first ever Khmer Grandmaster among the students in our chess program!
