We are lucky to study media class. As we are students from a small village, we never go on any trips which are organized by the teacher. In 2013 I came to join media class with the Ponheary Ly Foundation. Students have opportunity to share our voice with the world and learn new thing about the world too.
It was the first time for me to go to Siem Reap. I went to the Angkor Wat Film Festival at the Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. It was wonderful for me and my friends. It was the first time for us to go to a 5-star hotel.
A bus came to pick up us at 2:30 pm at Chey School but all the students arrived at Chey School around 9:00 o’clock. We were so excited to go. It was about 1:30 pm when we saw a bus come in to the school and everybody felt so happy. We got on the bus and the bus started to leave from Chey school to Siem Reap. On the way to Siem Reap we made fun by telling jokes and stories. Each of us told one joke. Thirty minutes later we arrived at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. I was so happy to see a nice hotel that I have never seen before. We come out of the bus and our teacher was waiting for us. I felt so excited to take photos with my teacher and all of my friends. We went to the Naga from in the hotel to see the movies.
At the movies it was so good to see two videos. One of the videos was talking about the woman in Lao and the other was a presentation about the importance of the telescope. It was great to see a big picture of the many kinds of cells. The cell which I was most interested in was the cell of the sand.
The movies finished at 1 o’clock and we went for lunch in the hotel. I saw many good foods; it looked so delicious and smelt good. Wow – I looked at the desks and chairs; so nice and comfortable. We stood in the line to take food. I was so happy to sit and eat at the nice place where the waiter and waitresses served so well.
After lunch we play in the garden and my friend and I were so happy to take photos together. Unfortunately it was time to go back home. It was about 3 o’clock we came home. I didn’t want to go yet, but it was time.
