Seven students and a Cambodian teacher reached a big achievement this week when they graduated from computer classes at the Ponheary Ly Foundation.

Students from Knar, Tchey, and Angkor High School, as well as Knar’s English teacher, mastered Microsoft Word and Excel in classes led by PLF’s resident computer guru Sotheara Ly.  The road to graduation wasn’t easy as these students were typing and using computers for the first time.  The intense, hands-on and self-paced curriculum was created by Sotheara Ly who runs her computer classes in Khmer six days a week in PLF’s guesthouse.  These classes are in addition to the computer lab we’ve installed at Tchey School.
